Anthem MDX Series

Anthem is a leading manufacturer of high-end electronics for music, home theaters and distributed sound systems. They recently launched MDX, an advanced and versatile multi-zone distribution system. The New Anthem MDX Series is the first distribution system featuring fully powered independent-zone subwoofer connections. It also comes with ARC Genesis room correction for each zone.

With the MDX Series, you get smooth, efficient, consistently high power and increased reliability. The MDX Series was engineered for simple audio system installation and high-quality sound performance for users with any audio setup.

Simple Web-Based Interface
Use the intuitive web-based interface and controls for simple on-site configuration and calibration. The adaptive interface was designed to work seamlessly on any device. Using the platform, installers can custom configure zones, assigning inputs and zone names and independently adjusting volume levels and other aspects of performance.

 Automation Compatibility
Due to powerful IP/RS-232 connection capability, the MDX Series is compatible with leading home automation systems with easily downloaded drivers. The current drivers available include Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, Savant and URC.

Subwoofers
With the MDX Series, there are dedicated subwoofer outputs for each zone. MDX is the first distribution solution offering the ability to expand an audio system by adding external subwoofers. Installers can install and control subwoofers independently in separate zones. The subwoofers have both high and low level dedicated outputs as well as bridge mode, and zone-independent settings, allowing for more advanced Anthem Room Correction (ARC Genesis). Installers can toggle Arc Genesis off and on, clearly demonstrating the benefits of the technology for premium sound optimization.

Zone Configuration Options
Each zone has a custom name, multiple inputs, independent playback and tuning controls. Installers can bridge the zones for increased power. Subwoofer bass management lets installers instantly set crossover frequency, level, phase and polarity. Having a large level of control over zones, the support for more creative design systems and sensational audio performance is unique to the MDX Series.

The power of Anthem and Paradigm combined to create a unique and outstanding experience for customers and installers. Anthem’s MDX Series comes with custom DSP profiles for Paradigm CI speakers and subwoofers, equalizing frequency response. It also creates an added benefit of tracking voltage, current, frequency and impedance for output management and integration with Advanced Load Monitor of the channels.
