SOLUTION
The proposed solution designed by Smart Offices included installation of a new audiovisual system to provide video distribution and display, audio reinforcement, video conferencing, recording, and AV system control.
Flexible Room Configuration
The three rooms at AgroLiquid, Room 109, Room 110, and Room 111 are capable of independent and combined operations. The rooms can operate independently; however, when combined, the center room is always the default camera along with the center room computer. Microphones and speakers from the side rooms will always join the center room.

Cameras
All three rooms were equipped with a pan/tilt/zoom camera at the back of the room. The Crestron control and BiAmp audio system were updated to support all new equipment.
Crestron Programming/User Interface
A new custom Crestron program was created for a typical combinable space with a zero-training user interface. The interface provides basic room control functions such as Room On/Off, Select Video Resource, and Volume Control. An advanced page provides control for microphone adjustments and wall partition configuration. Numeric pass-codes may be implemented limiting access to all or select control screens. A Crestron custom XPanel was created allowing a PC, MAC, or mobile device (tablet) to emulate the touch panel interface.
Wall Plates
SOSH replaced three (3) failing Crestron 200 series in-wall VGA/HDMI transmitters with new dual gang Crestron in-wall VGA/HDMI transmitters.
Microphones
A new BiAmp Tesira Forte audio processor and six beam-tracking ceiling microphones, two per room, were installed. The ceiling microphones are active during online conferencing, sending voice/speech in the room(s) to far-side participants. The ceiling microphones are not amplified through the ceiling speakers.
A button was added to the Crestron room interface to allow the ceiling microphones to be manually muted when needed, providing only instructor/presenter wireless microphones active in the conference session.
Projection
Each room was equipped with a new laser video projector and certified for Crestron control.
Room Computer
Installation of three PCs, one each for each room. The PCs are located in the cabinets in the rear of the rooms. Intended for use with USB wireless keyboard/mouse. The room microphones and new cameras are interfaced to the PCs for online video conferencing.
Wireless Presentation and Conferencing
Three Crestron AirMedia wireless presentation gateways were upgraded and relocated from the walls in the rooms to the equipment rack. New Crestron DM input cards were installed to support the wireless gateways.
