Description: The Smart Offices Software Developer specializes in front-end and back-end software engineering.
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
- Participate in planning, design, implementation, verification, and deployment for custom applications according to specifications
- Participate in maintenance of existing custom applications
- Work in conjunction with lead developer on projects and ensure that your work is compatible with, and does not duplicate the work of others
- Diagnose and repair software problems or bugs, assist end users with technical issues and help to resolve those problems
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
- Train end users on custom applications
Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise):
- Basic understanding of relevant technologies, software development methodologies, and programming languages
- Basic knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of object-oriented design/development
- Experience with C# and Visual Studio
- Experience developing apps on iOS or Android
- Experience with relational databases & database design
- Strong computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with clients and colleagues
- Strong work ethic, trustworthy and dependable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively and efficiently alone or with a team to meet deadlines
- Verifiable references
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
